I pray that the Truth
from the Lord God rests in your soul. I urge you all to know the
truth, and the truth is “Jesus is Lord”.
The actions of one
man, Adam, created a separation between God and man. This is the sin of
man. As a result all of us are separated from a relationship with God
because of sin.
By the grace of God
what had been destroyed by the sin of one man is restored by the obedience unto
death of one man, Jesus, who offers salvation to all who repent from their sin
and follow him, the living Son of God.
For all who seek him, cry out in repentance, and desire a full life, can call
on the name of Jesus. Earnestly desire the saving grace of Jesus to be in
your soul and seek the Kingdom of God. Believe in the hope of things not
seen for the God of the universe desires to have fellowship with you. The
truth is this-Eternal life is in Jesus.
The God who loves his
creation, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the one who gave the law to
Moses, has sent the perfect sacrifice, his only Son Jesus Christ, to be our
substitute and pay the debt for all our sin. This was a once for all time
sacrifice.
Believe in the Son of
God who was born for our salvation, beaten and crucified for our sin, defeated
death, raised out of the grave on the third day, stayed among us for 40 more
days, and ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God the
Father.
When we receive Jesus
as our Savior and Lord He sends the Holy Spirit to dwell with us and give us
the ability to repent and ask Jesus to forgive our sins, turn from the ways of
the world, and follow the abundant life Jesus gives to all who seek him.
Seek to know Jesus, to
know God in a personal and intimate way. Such knowledge, which is
possible only because of divine revelation through the Holy Spirit, transforms
us from the inside out as we begin to see ourselves in the light of His majesty
and holiness.
“For if you confess
with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him
from the dead, you shall be saved. For it is by believing in your heart
that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that
your are saved.” Romans 10:9-10
